Research

My work with multi-national and multi-institutional teams (comprising >120 co-authors) has led to >70 peer-reviewed publications, 20 Invited Lectures, $3.3M in peer-reviewed funding, 7 book chapters and a US Patent Filing (No. 61/493,306 Electrophysiological diagnosis and treatment for asthma).

My trainees have been awarded 9 clinical fellowships (5 Royal College of Surgeons, 3 Medical Research Council, 1 Wellcome Trust) leading to 8 research doctorates (2 MDs, 6 PhDs). I have examined MDs & PhDs in the UK, Europe & Australasia.
